The Penn Portal for the Material World aims to showcase the remarkable array of scholars at the University of Pennsylvania working across fields of archaeology, heritage, conservation and the museum. This initiative compiles in one place all of the faculty across Penn’s schools and institutions who are documenting, researching and conserving our global heritage. It is also a way for us to learn more about the expertise and resources that exist here at Penn and to enable further connections between faculty and students. The Portal highlights the breadth of international expertise at Penn, for our colleagues and students, at the university and beyond.
